Zumba-licious!
Now that my daughter is back in school, I'm using an hour
of that morning school time to exercise and take care of
myself. I just joined Miss Fits Workout Company LLC.
and have taken 3 classes this week so far.The classes are just wonderful and include Zumba--the latest dance/fitness craze, plus about 10 other classes.
I drop my daughter off at school, drive over to the fitness class (only a few minutes away) for the one hour 8:15AM class, then I go home and work until it's time to pick up Amanda.
It's a great feeling to work out in the morning because a) it really gets your energy soaring and b) you get your exercising out of the way bright and early. The rest of the day is smooth sailing after that.
Working out at home is OK, if you're really dedicated to it and if you really push yourself. But being in a class with lots of people around you forces you to push harder and exercise longer.
This morning, I was thrilled to get there and see three of my friends--Jen, Jenny and Beth. It's always super to see friendly faces when you're exercising and you get to chat for a few minutes too--a nice bonus.
If you ever get a chance to try Zumba, I highly recommend it. It's a great workout, helps to improve coordination and is loads of fun.
The bottom line: take the time to take care of yourself. You deserve to feel great!

LOOOOOOVVVVEEE zumba!
Keeps me feeling young too.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only organizer who gets a kick from the hip-hop/funky stuff.
We're not a bunch of stiffs.

The exercise bug has been naggin me, too. I've been so down on energy lately that it's been calling me! I'm a runner, though. I need to get up early in the morning to make it happen. Thanks for the encouragement!
