Latest Read: Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons
I just finished reading Lorna Landvik's book, Angry
Housewives Eating Bon Bons. Five friends, who formed
and attend a monthly book club, live through three
decades of marriages, child raising, neighborhood parties
and book chat treats. This story is one of female
bonding. On a scale of 1 to 5 (one being low, 5 being high), I rated this book a 4. The other book club members gave it an average rating of 4--so we all agreed.
I honestly wanted to score this book a 5, as I did truly enjoy it. However, it was a bit difficult to keep track of all the characters involved. Thus, I subtracted a point on that account.
It is a very entertaining and appropriate book for anyone involved in a book chat and/or who loves to read about other people.

Also try Lorna's Betty Jean's House of Curl. Not as "fun" and bob bons but still a great read.

I've read all the books by Lorna Landvik, a Minnesotan, and they're are very easy to read and enjoy.
How about Patty Jane's House of Curls, The Tall Pine Polka and Your Oasis on Flame Lake?

I love this book. Our neighborhood book club read this last year. I also thought it would make for a great TV movie.
