Relay Update -- July, 2008

Thanks SO MUCH to those of you who have sent in donations for the upcoming Relay for Life Event I'm involved in. Together, you've helped me hit $250 in donations so far.

The Relay is only one month away. If you haven't donated and you're able, PLEASE do so. It's such an important fundraiser and even a small donation of $5 or $10 could make a BIG difference.

I want to wish you and your team the best luck in your upcoming Relay For Life. We had our Relay on June 21st in Rochelle, Ill. It was one of the best yet. Our team was awesome, I had my husband, son, daughter-in-law, my granddaughter, 2 of my best friends and family on our team this year they all stayed all night. It was great. We had 26 teams, and raised $41,000+ for cancer research. My best friend got me started in Relay 4 years ago when I started taking her for her treatments, she is now cancer free for 4 years. It is such a rewarding thing to do.
